Walkfree Children's Foundation Volunteer's program- Internship will prove your dedication and strength of character and will not go unnoticed by future employers.
Walkfree internship program offers both online & on-ground program in Masaka- Uganda to allow you to exploit Child Protection, Education, Menstruation Equity, Performing Arts Training and achieve a great sense of personal satisfaction.
We have previously placed interns in our program and they greatly impacted the lives of children living in vulnerable situation. They have contributed immensely to Education, Child Protection, Menstruation Hygiene Management in Uganda. Walkfree internships can suit a vast range of disciplines and degrees including Management, Psychology, Sociology, Public Health, Child Care and International Relations.
Remote Internship

Flexibility is key to our virtual internship program; do a remote internship full-time or part-time alongside your studies, career or other responsibilities – the choice is yours. You can participate in an online internship from your home or from anywhere in the world.

Interview
During the 20–30-minute interview with our Team Leader, we'll ask you more about yourself, why you want to do an internship, and your preferred department. This is also an opportunity for you to ask us any questions you might have about the program. If your interview is successful, confirm your enrolment. Always remember that our internship comes with no pay for and also our placement is free.

Intern's duties & Responsibilities
-Coordinating with volunteers and staff to ensure successful event execution and outreach efforts.
-Raising money and support for the organization through various channels, such as:

Event planning and execution (e.g charity events, auctions, galas)

Direct Mail Campaigns

Grant writing and proposal development
-Building and maintaining relationships with donors, sponsors, and stakeholders.
-Oversee projects from initiation to completion, managing budgets, timelines, and resources to achieve program objectives
