No young child should have to face the world on their own.
The Odds are Stacked Against Them. You Can Change That.
When you Donate to Walkfree, you :

Provide them with a quality education that help them realize their artistic dreams.
-
Give them the help, support, and guidance needed to heal.
-
Break the cycle of poverty and abuse for the next generation.
-
Transform Uganda and the children's future.
We can’t erase their trauma, but we can help them rewrite their story.
Some children come to us as young as 7 years old— heart broken, self-worth shattered, fear in their eyes. Some are unable to smile or speak. But with intensive therapy, emotional support, and a whole lot of heart, we help them grow into the strong, joyful, confident young adults they were meant to be.
When you give them back their childhood, you hand them their future.
Without positive role models, our orphans face the risk of repeating unhealthy dynamics with which many grew up. With the right tools, we can change their narrative and impact future generations.
We’ve seen it happen. Our children living happy and going for their dreams. They go to school, become creative ambassadors, and they are loved by their family and community. This transformation is made possible by generous donors like you.
